About Daniel
An error message is a clue, and getting stuck is part of learning to solve a problem. I’m Daniel, and I like making space for you to test an idea, explain what you expected and figure out what happened instead. You do not need to arrive with polished code or a perfect page of working. I support AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics and AP Computer Science A. In computing, we trace Java code and test small examples; in calculus, we connect graphs, numerical examples and algebra; in statistics, we check assumptions and explain what a result means. I enjoy building little coding projects and playing board games, which probably explains my fondness for a good debugging puzzle. Lessons are hands-on: you stay in control of the keyboard or the working while I ask questions and help you choose a next step. We also practise the clear explanations that AP free-response questions require. Message through TutorScout with your exact AP course, the topic or coding task and what you have tried so far. This is a fictional sample profile; tutoring availability must be confirmed.
Teaching approach
Start with the smallest useful version of the problem. Trace and explain Java code in Computer Science A, compare representations in Calculus AB or BC, and check conditions and interpretation in Statistics. Let the student complete each step and use a related AP question to check that the reasoning transfers.
