About Natalie

If your notes make sense until you close the book, I would start by asking you to explain one small idea in your own words. I’m Natalie, and I like finding the point where a topic becomes understandable rather than just familiar. There is no need to rush past a question because it seems basic. I support Ontario Biology (SBI3U / SBI4U), Chemistry (SCH3U / SCH4U) and general Science in Grades 9–10. We can untangle a biological process, work through a chemistry calculation or practise turning a diagram into a clear explanation. I enjoy gardening, cooking and a good café conversation; that curious, conversational style comes into lessons too. We use familiar examples to get started, then return to the precise language and working your course expects. For younger students, we also build the graph-reading and problem-solving habits that make senior science less of a jump. Each lesson includes time to apply an idea without prompts. Teaching approach

Begin with a short explanation or question to identify the gap in understanding. Build a diagram or model together, connect it to the scientific language and work through one example. Let the student try a new question independently. Practise calculations, interpreting evidence and writing concise explanations while keeping assessed work the student's own.
